OPEN CALL

OPEN CALL FOR MEDIA ART PROJECTS
Submission deadline 15 OCT 2024

LICHTROUTEN is a decentralized exhibition project that has been taking place throughout the city center since 2002. Lüdenscheid City Marketing organizes the LICHTROUTEN light art festival. Bettina Pelz and Tom Groll are the artistic directors.

NEW ENERGIES

We are looking for projects and concepts that take up energy as an artistic medium, theme or metaphor. In times of stagnation, crisis and conflict, the need for new energies is more urgent than ever. Renewable energy sources offer hope and resilience and pave the way for a sustainable future. Social and spiritual energies provide the strength and unity needed to overcome challenges.

We are looking for concepts and artworks that inspire reflection on the crucial role of renewable energy in the realization of sustainable development. We are also interested in projects that explore the transformative power of social energy, such as community action, collective effort and spiritual energy that emphasize inner strength, mindfulness and the connection between people and the environment.

ARCHITECTURE PROJECTION

This open call is aimed at artists from all disciplines who realize their projects as architectural projections, be it as animation, video art or projection mapping. Individual artists, artistic collectives or transdisciplinary projects are invited to apply.
